Check out my socks

But does everything have to be pink?

Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

Nah... it's just a leaf.

All smiles : )

My cheekbones are sore from attempting to extract these smiles - but it was well worth it!

You have got to be kidding me.....is this joker really my daddy?

6 week check up

We went for Megan's 6 week paediatrician appointment today. She weighed in at a whopping 4kg and is now 54cm long. That means she has grown 1cm a week - at that rate she will be as tall as me by the time she is 2 years old :)

First toothless grin 03 Feb 2007

Megan gave her first big smile and chuckle today. We have yet to capture it on camera as proof, but watch this space.......

Family Portrait

Next time we will make sure Tim shaves!

First trip to the 'bright city lights'

On Australia day we headed to Darling Harbour with Andre and had lunch at King Street Wharf. Little Miss M won't be remembering her first city trip as she behaved beautifully and slept the whole time!

Playtime : )

Megan spends lots of time on her playmat that her great uncle Jan bought for her. She is also mesmerized by her reflection in the mirror that Viv bought. At first she would just lie there, but now she is starting to kick about and reach for the dangling toys.

Quivering lip....

It is hard not to laugh at this face! The lip starts to quiver as she builds up for a good cry!

Catching flies...

This is Megan on her first outing. We headed down to Bronte for a birthday party and on the way decided to stop at Paddington to exchange a nappy bag at the shops... on returning to the car the battery was dead! It was pretty hot, but fortunately the NRMA arrived very quickly and we were on our way again.

Who says I am too small to pull funny faces?

Little M posing for the camera : )

Tucked up and cosy in her own cot!

We can't imagine that she will ever come close to taking up all that space in her cot!

Home time!

After 3 nights in hospital it was time to head home... a daunting but exciting prospect! Megan looked tiny in her capsule and with her little head flopping around we realised we needed a head support!
Megan passed her hearing test with flying colours!

Megan's first bath

Megan was a bit sceptical about her first bath, but once she was soaking in the warm water she really enjoyed it!
