What a beautiful smile...it makes the heart melt!

Dad's Birthday

Meg was very generous and bought Dad a fancy camera for his birthday. I think she liked the super photos her Uncle Andrew took of her in Cape Town and wanted her Dad to be able to do the same!

Kirstenbosch Gardens - what a spot!

We had a lovely lazy afternoon picnic at Kirstenbosch. It was a bit emotional as we had just said goodbye to my folks and we were preparing to say bye to the rest of my family. All in all we had a wonderful time, just wish it could have been longer....

Looking cute in her first dress

Klein Meggsie at Groot Constantia

It made me very homesick visiting places like Groot Constantia....

Brekkie at Noordhoek

The boys went for what was described as a spectacular ride through Tokai and Silvermine and met us for breakfast at Noordhoek. Michaela called Megan all kinds of funny names... Meggsie-moo has stuck! Looking forward to her wearing the 'takkies' Michaela gave her - too cute!

Ag man, just look at that face!

Happy Easter!

We had a lovely Easter with the Tatos family. In true Greek style there was more food than you could shake a stick at!

Flying with Uncle Andrew

The Waterfront

No trip to Cape Town would be complete without a stroll around The Waterfront. The great atmosphere and the usual African music pulled at my heart.....

Chappies

After dropping in at the Naartjie factory outlet and buying lots of clothes for Meg, we drove over Chappies followed by coffee at Noordhoek.

Meggsie and Aunty Olga

Aunty Olga spoiled Megan with lots of cuddles.

Big Cousin Nicholas

Nicholas was amazing with Megan. He was fascinated by her and was ever so gentle always sharing and giving her things especially lots of hugs. Tim and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Nicholas - such a lovely boy. We became affectionately know as 'Eem' and 'Ooo' (Ooo spoken with very pursed up lips!) Looking forward to A, O and N's visit so that Nicholas can do lots of ummmming and cleaning up the meths around our house!

Meeting Kate Stella

It was lovely to meet Kate Stella. She was oh so tiny - it's hard to remember when Megs-da-moo was that small!

Globe Trotting

Meggsie was an absolute star on the plane to SA. She behaved beautifully and was very interested in everything going on around her. It was a winner going via Singapore and missing out on JHB. Arriving in CT felt a bit weird and it must have been even stranger for Tim having not been there for 4 years. It was great seeing everyone and introducing Meg to all her relatives. Babcia was pleased as punch and stated that Megan was "hers" and that nobody else was allowed to hold her!
