Vroom, vroom

Every since Nicholas's visit, Meg has had a bit of an obsession with cars. It is defintely her toy of choice at the moment.
It is amazing just how much she has developed in the past few weeks. Firstly there is no more crawling, only walking. She found her legs a couple of days after A, O and N's visit (10th of Jan to be precise) and hasn't looked back since. She knows lots of her body parts and various other objects. How is it possible for her to get sweeter and sweeter by the day when she is already infinitely sweet!

First bit of craft

Is it a Picasso? Is it a Da Vinci? No it is a Meggie-moo! Mmmmm I wonder just how much she participated in this creation...

1st day at Acre Woods daycare

Meggie is going well at daycare. I am really happy with the staff and the way the centre is run. She does get a little upset when Tim drops her off (thank goodness I don't need to do it!) but it is apparently short lived and is happy for the rest of the day. I am sure she will enjoy socialising and the variety of different activities which she will be exposed to.

Priceless

An extract from an email from Olga.....
A funny story, when I dropped Nicholas off at school this morning, Mary (one of the teachers) said to him, “are you number 1 Nicholas?” and he said “no, Meggie is 1. I am 2.” Too cute, so he definitely still remembers her.

Magical holiday

We had the most awesome holiday with Andrew, Olga and Nicholas. We were so lucky to have them here to celebrate Christmas and Meggie's first birthday and for the cousins to spend some time together. It was indeed a very sad day to see them go....

Taking a splash in Neil and Susan's pool

Party on!

We celebrated Meg's first birthday at a Bicentennial Park in West Pymble. As you can see there was a bit of a ladybird theme. It rained on and off, but we had the food under a shelter so it didn't dampen the spiritis. Meg was a bit overwhelmed by it all and only started chatting in the car on the way home!

Taking a stroll at North Head

Beaching

Meggie has spent a fair bit of time at the beach this summer and is getting used to the whole water, paddling and sand thing. She is pretty chilled when taken in to the water.... lets hope it lasts!

Flying high at Balmoral

It took Tim a little while to build up to throwing her high enough for Andre to get the photo he wanted!

Meggie's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Meg's birthday by starting off at Shelly Beach in the morning and then in the afternoon we spent some time up at the local park.

'Lil Ripper

Meggie's Aunties and Uncles bought her the awesome 'Lil Ripper for her birthday.... her legs have a little bit of growing to do!

First Christmas

Meg was super spoilt by everyone this Christmas. This rag doll was a gift from Babcia and grampa KK.

Raggamuffin?

Aunty Kayla reckons Megs is looking a bit like a Raggamuffin!

Cousin, Aunty and Uncle in Syd!

Andrew, Olga and Nicholas arrived in Oz for a 3 week visit. It was a very special time that we were able to spend together and we had a ball....we were just very sad to see them leave :(
